The SMART Vehicle Module allows a vehicle and its security status to be remotely monitored and tracked over the internet in real time. The SMART Vehicle Module is an extremely versatile tracking unit that can be used with many types of vehicles including cars, vans, trucks and utility/service vehicles.

The SMART Vehicle Module is suitable for a wide range of applications including AVL, MRM, fleet tracking, vehicle monitoring and stolen vehicle recovery.

Special functions

The SMART Vehicle Module device simultaneously collects:
1) the vehicle’s position and 2) the vehicle’s data (such as engine on, speed, direction etc). All of this data is then transmitted in a report through the GSM network to the internet where it is received by the server.

If there is no GPRS service, all reports will be stored on the unit’s internal flash memory (which can store up to 900 reports). When the unit eventually reconnects with the server, all stored reports will be automatically forwarded.
